Bay Area Combat (BAC) is an amateur Mixed Martial Arts promotion that showcases the finest talent from Northern California and beyond. Since the first event in 2018, BAC has featured athletes with a wide range of backgrounds including MMA, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Grappling, Jiu-Jitsu, and Karate, providing a stepping stone to larger promotions including UFC and Bellator. The goal of BAC is to match up-and-coming athletes with opponents of equal skill in an effort to put out the best product for the fighter, the audience, and the MMA community at large. Athletes want to compete in BAC because of the great working environment and quality of content to catch the eye of these major combat sports promotions.

Based out of Martinez, CA, BAC Owner Deborah Ferolito runs this promotion for fighters, by fighters. Her promotion of BAC Champion Daniel Compton to be BAC’s Fight Director is proof of this philosophy in action. Deborah is on a mission to foster the Northern California combat sports community to become a major player on the global stage. BAC will continue to put out a stream of engaging content through social media, and eventually at live events once again. Stay tuned for a number of exciting announcements coming in the near future about live events and exclusive internet content in the near future.
